These very adaptable creatures live mostly in areas associated to human habitats.
Rodents area a serious pest issue.
Their ability to adapt to different environments, ability to chew and “gnaw” in order to gain access to unlimited areas of food and shelter makes them problematic to all habitats related to humans.
It is common for rats and mice to live in “ Groups” or Mischiefs as they are known to live in very social environments – If a Rodent is sighted, generally there are others nearby.
The presence of rodents to human food sources is severely unfavourable, due to possible food contamination, health and safety, sickness and transmission of disease commonly known as Salmonella. This can cause untold health risks and damage not only humans but to properties as well.
